Get bushfire ready this October!

Save the date! The Bushfire Centre of Excellence is excited to announce the much-loved Bushfire Community Day is back – heading to Mundaring Arena in the Perth Hills on Sunday 12 October 2025.

Located amid the trees, the Mundaring Arena is a modern sports facility that stands as a shining gem and a point of pride for the Shire of Mundaring. This versatile venue includes a vast range of indoor and outdoor spaces, making it the ideal location to host this year’s Bushfire Community Day.

Held in collaboration with the Shire of Mundaring, the Bushfire Centre of Excellence will host this free event that gives Western Australians the chance to meet emergency services personnel and enjoy a fun day out with the family. Most importantly, it will also offer practical advice on the preparedness actions the community need to take ahead of the bushfire season. Through informative sessions, exciting demonstrations and interactive exhibits, attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with variety of educational tools and resources - ensuring they leave feeling more prepared and bushfire ready for the bushfire season.
